I started this Nano Reef back in December of 09 during winter break from College. Here are some pictures from the beginning of the build.

Here are some pictures of the tank in the first stages of being setup

Here are some other pictures from a few weeks ago.

Tank has been running since around christmas and is currently on my desk at college. It has a 36 watt current nova extreme t5ho unit above it. I do weekly water changes of a gallon or more. More updated pictures will be put up when I go back to school after spring break.

Here are some more closeup pictures of some of the things in the tank.

Some new zoas I got at Joe's. Look a lot better in person as this was taken with a real shitty camera.

New zoas I got in a trade. Yellow skirts with purple centers.  Some have yellow mouths, and others have a splatter of purple and yellow all over the face, or mostly yellow. Fragged a few and put them on rocks in my nano.

That looks fabulous.  Hard to believe it's such a small tank.  Looks much bigger from the photos.

Here is a picture of some zoas I cut out of a colony of other zoanthids. These were going to basically get smothered by the other ones and I wanted these things to grow so I cut them out and glued them to a piece of rubble rock.
Man are these things bright, and they have a yellow mouth.

What a great looking tank...Nice work on finding corals that seem to fit perfectly with the size of the tank.  Looks as big as my 56....
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day...Teach a man to fish....Keep him the hell away from my tank....

very nice.  do you use pegs or glue/epoxy to mount your frags on the rock? You have inspired me to get something like this for my office at some point.

Most of the stuff that I cut myself I will superglue to pieces of rubble rock. The stuff I usually get from other people or stores comes in on the plugs, harder to find a place for them in my tank when they are on that stuff.
