The 215g (knockout picture intense)
« on: September 07, 2009, 12:37:49 AM »
The original tank thread got all messed up so I am starting a new one... I am including some old shots for those that never saw it.

Brief history (for the new members :D ), tank was setup originally December 2008, all rock and livestock came from 2 75g tanks I was keeping at the time, the 215 was stripped and restarted August 2009.
The whole system is plumbed together and consists of:
215g Oceanic Tank
75g Sump
20g Remote Sand Bed/Frag Tank
10g Remote Frag Tank
DIY Stand and Cabinet
MSX250 Skimmer
Precision Marine Kalkwasser Reactor
Dart Return Pump
1 Vortech MP40w on one side
2 Koralia 3\'s on the other side (hope to replace that with another MP40w eventually)

Planning and readying the area

Tank Arrives, Thanks Dan

some pics of the messed I made before my returned from her trip...

it was TOO crazy trying to take pictures as we built the new aqua-scape, so right to the after shots

This is a sweet tank! I see that you\'ve come a long way to get it to where it\'s at!  More props for the DIY setup!!  I hope to reach your level one day.
