New Addition!

My new Lumenbright Wide reflector, 250w Coralvue dimmable ballast and 20k reeflux SE bulb is installed....Color is sick!  No other way to describe it....Knocking my T5 fixture right out the room....Check it out!

That’s a lot of light spread for your tank.  The Lumenbright is an awesome reflector, you should be very happy with it.  What are your dimensions of your tank?

24 x 24 x 12. You hit it on the head.  Every corner of the tank gets light now....

WOW, that\'s a lot of light for a 24 inch square tank.  I looked into those reflectors myself and they are rated for a 36 inch area and possibly as high as 48 inch.

I guess that fan in your one picture is needed now.

Really no heat from the pendant.  Fan was there from before the halides...Thats my summer look....lol

Hey the hippo I got from petco for $5.  And the YT was $15 last Sat.  new addition...Wanted a purple tang but yellow will do....LOL.....All my fish are fat and healthy.  I figure with aggressive skimming, carbon/GFO and weekly water changes I should be good.  All but the tangs stay small.  Thats my goal.  To have a full reef look in a shallow tank.   Gonna add a calcium reactor for more stability.  Hard keeping the Alk up already in this tank.. Once these sps start growing its gonna be even harder...
