Impressive as usual.... couple of things... first off Must know names of these two WOW pieces.... what is the overnight shipping rate from Taiwan
Second, you have to share your picture skills... c\'mon dude you take awesome pics... ohh and what did you use to make the animated GIFs
Thanks for your comments! Actually, I don\'t know the names of these two WOW pieces, but they are undoubtly native Taiwan species.
The shipping rate from Taiwan to U.S. is quite high, and I don\'t know if it is possible and legal for one to export live corals to foreign countries privately without license or some certification!
We have lots of nice corals here, especially those zoas collected in my tank! Some people said that they are "Japanese deep water zoas", but they were mostly found in shallow water region!
As for the picture skills, well, I think the most important key point is a scaffold for the camera! With its support, you will not vibrate the camera when you try to take pictures under specific conditions!
In my personal experience, lower ISO value (less than 400)and suitable shutter timing are two basic operation settings for high quality pics.
Under this critical setting, any little vibration can cause the blur of images obtained!
If a scaffold is available already, then try to decrease the shutter timing setting by increasing the value displayed in your camera (ex. 20----->50, which means 1/20 sec to 1/50 sec shutter timing),
and one will find the images obtained become darker. Now, try to use your photoshop or any other image processing software to adjust the brightness back to what you have seen by naked eyes.
After the post-treatment of the images, you will find that the pics are with high quality and normal brightness! Quality-photography is then done!
If you are interested in making an animated GIF, you can first set the camera to continuous mode and take several pics of either fishes or corals.
Use the image processing software to convert those pics taken to GIF format. Try to download a free software called "UnFREEz", and throw those sequetial pics to the UnFREEz window, and one can export them into a animated GIF file!
Hope these info. above helps!!
