Setting up a 150 again
« on: July 26, 2010, 06:32:40 PM »
Not sure if this is the correct forum or not,but heres the story.
I had sold this 150 about 5 years ago to a person on another reef club site, well he sold his house and couldnt take it so I bought it back for pennies...
The tank is a perfecto RR 72x18 that Im having a custom metal stand with a built in light made for it.It will later be skinned in 1/2" oak,the sump I had custom made when I first set up the tank its 60"Lx12.5"Wx15"H with a 48" refugium section,I had macro on the bottom with raised frag racks. Not sure if Im going T5 or T5 and VHO.
This will be a slow rebuild and Ill take pics along the way,and if I happen to dig up old ones of the first time It was up Ill post them as well.
Stayed Tuned.

Yes I love build threads......
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day...Teach a man to fish....Keep him the hell away from my tank....

Well
Heres a pic of the sump, hoping to have the new stand this week so I can have the drip tank built
but well see what happens...Also if someone needs one the stand in the pic. is for sale and can be picked up when the new one is ready.
